Washington State Pilot Escort Vehicle Operator Certification Course - In-person
Description
Evergreen Safety Council’s nationally-recognized Pilot Escort Vehicle Operator (PEVO) certification is the most current, comprehensive, and cutting-edge PEVO program in the country. PEVO certification is required for operation in Washington, and many states have similar requirements.

NOTE: This is an IN-PERSON class. Please make sure you have made arrangements to physically attend this classroom training.
What you'll learn
- This 8 hour certification class draws on the latest industry standards and best practices established at the state and federal levels. Through lectures, activities, quizzes, and discussion, students will be trained on:
- Legal requirements of PEVOs and their vehicles
- How to read and understand Washington State code pertaining to PEVOs
- How to understand permits and plan for an oversize load move
- How to pilot along a designated route
- Hazards and emergency procedures
Requirements
You will need a valid Driver License from a U.S. state or Canadian province in order to earn your certification.
