Description
WITPAC is a specialized course for Pilot Escort Vehicle Operators (PEVOs), load drivers, and steerpersons who transport wind turbine components.
As of July 2024, we’ve added new information to this training that will be important for both new and returning students.
Renewing? Those with a valid, non-expired WITPAC certification are eligible to skip the online prep course and get $100 off the class price. Enter the code RENEW at checkout.
Requirements
Students must have one of the following to earn a WITPAC certification:

A PEVO certification from Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Minnesota, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Utah, Virginia, or Washington, along with a valid Driver License from any U.S. state or Canadian province

-
A CDL from any U.S. state or Canadian province
Students without a PEVO certification or CDL may attend, but will earn a proof of completion.
Course format
Part 1: Online self-directed prep course (new and expired certifications only)
Once you register, you will also be automatically registered for the online prep course. You must complete the online prep course and pass the prep exam prior to your instructor-led class session. (The prep course is optional for students with a valid, non-expired WITPAC certification.)
Part 2: Instructor-led online class (all students)
This is an ONLINE certification class taking place over Zoom. To participate, students must use a device (or combination of devices) with a working camera, microphone, and speakers. Certification
Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive your digital WITPAC certification or proof of completion via email within 2-3 business days, and your certification information will be entered into our database of certified operators.
